Estelle noticed that when The Apostles were getting their faces painted, their faces were being painted in a clown like way, but with religious symbols and things that held meanings to their lives. When Jesus got to Estelle, he was thinking. "Out of everyone here, I'd say you are the most difficult!" There was a general chuckle throughout the group. "Ah! I've got it!" Jesus said a moment after. A crescent moon was painted on Estelle's left cheek, and treble cleft on her right cheek, she had always loved to sing. The tip of her nose was painted purple. Estelle smiled. She liked herself this way, but could never think of herself as beautiful. Personally she liked Jeffery's face paint the most, and it was a large possibility that she was developing just a little school girl crush on him. "I certainly love my face paint, but... I don't like myself." Estelle said. "Why?" Jesus asked. A smile was tugging at the corners of Estelle's mouth. "When I lived on the street, my body image became er, uh, well rather distorted." Estelle said, a sad smile now on her face. "Well that just isn't the case, I see a beautiful young girl standing before me!" Jesus replied. Estelle laughed. "Oh, Master I thank you, but I cannot see what you see." Jesus smiled gently, and took Estelle to a nearby pond, the small band of disciples followed. Jesus and Estelle looked into the pond, it surprised Estelle very much, seeing that this was the first time in years, she had seen her reflection. "What do you see?" Jesus asked, addressing Estelle. "An ugly girl, who looks like a ruffian and street urchin...." Estelle said quietly. Jesus shook his head. "Let me show you what I see." Jesus said. The waves in the pond rippled, and Estelle's reflection changed instantly. It showed Estelle through what must have been Jesus's eyes. Her hair which was a dark brown fell below her upper back just a little, her brown eyes were glowing and sparkling in the moonlight. Another image showed Estelle probably in her later years, as a beautiful, attractive young woman. "This one is my favorite though." Jesus said, as the pond rippled once again, showing a younger Estelle giving all of her allowance money to a homeless man so he could eat. The reflection returned to normal, and a shocked Estelle sat with a bewildered look on her face. Estelle then heard Jesus laugh quietly. "Master?" Estelle asked, looking at him quizzically. "That look on your face was rather cute, Estelle!" Jesus said. "But do you understand, where I'm coming from on this? Real beauty does not matter on the outside, it's your beauty on the inside that is truly important." Jesus finished. "Yes Master." Estelle said. Gilmer came to the side, and smiled at Estelle. "I certainly didn't think you were ugly, when I first saw you, in fact you looked kinda cute with your little hat and everything! In fact I don't think anyone here thought you were the least bit ugly. Right?" There was a murmur of agreement from the small group. Estelle felt a light tap on her shoulder, she spun around and felt herself pulled into a hug by Jeffery. Estelle grinned and felt her cheeks growing hot on the account she was blushing. "Ooooooh, somebody likes Jeffery!" Joanne teased. "Uhhhmm.." Estelle replied, not really being able to talk. There was a laugh within the group, then things settled down as Jesus began the first parable. Jesus smiled at Estelle before things got underway, why did she feel she knew him from somewhere?
